Recognize: that if the people drilling a relief well are done over a month in advance/ THEN they shortened the length of the hole/ and are now going to intersect and basically cut the well pipe that holds everything together.
Too close to the surface; and hydraulically the entire well, blowout and all could simply be pushed out of the ground. The pressure at 5000 feet is over 6000psi/ they say the well casing is drilled into 18000 feet of rock below that level: therefore “the pressures working against that pipe are very high”/ and to cut into the steel means, it will no longer hold together: hydraulics can do terrible or wonderful things! And understand: this same company is drilling in over 7000 feet of water/ doing that work at the same time as the other platform was: would they not be using the same techniques? Or the many other companies/ do they NOT “Wish to save money too”? Have ANY BEEN INSPECTED FOR REAL? The answer is no/ the consequence is: this could be “only the beginning”.
Again, the simple process would be to insert as simple plate between the hub clearly shown above the blowout; just loosen the bolts, take out enough bolts to slide the plate between the two halves, and tighten it back down. Leak stopped. Or work with the vertical edge of the two hubs as the most “sealable surface”. Or push down a deformable plug into the pipe with the drilling pipe attached to the “small cap” being used. Or place a literal cap, filled with a liquid epoxy or other material down onto the pipe, so that the material epoxy or other must deform around the spewing oil with the drilling pipe and hold it in place with chains, bottom clamps, or whatever you choose. Or finish cutting the jagged part of the pipe and use an actual sealing plug. Or work with two halves that can be split to go around the hub, with seals in place on the vertical edge/ set these into place using the hub as an anchor point, and screw them together, creating a coupling in effect which can and would include a valving mechanism at the top when you are ready; it may not be perfect/ but it would be effective. A more detailed look at this one is below, a picture will arrive soon. The primary trouble here is: your leaders: STILL WANT THE OIL, and have lost their sense. These are all simple solutions, it is impossible to think none would have considered even one of them; yet it still spews.
As to the pressures running through the piping/ they are not significantly greater if at all than would be normally running had this well not been broken. The blowout preventer is basically a device entirely meant to soften the blow of adjusting flow in opposition to the pressures involved. The fact that emergency shutoff did not work, is not fundamentally an indication that pressure relief does not work either/ they are two entirely different systems. Cutting in with a relief well, to plug the piping with concrete from below, may or may not allow any portion of the blowout to function, assuming it would. Regardless the capping or plugging of this well is not limited due to pressures being applied/ rather those pressures are normally dealt with by reducing the flow slowly or in stages, so as not to create a shock wave that can destroy the integrity of parts. This pressure can be contained, and if you do not believe that, then the relief wells have no purpose at all. This well can be plugged, particularly with the insertion of a plate between existing hubs; so long as the bolts are not taken apart, control will be maintained. If it is believed that too much pressure is applied by opening one side/ therefore taking out some bolts to allow the plate, it is otherwise possible to slide multiple plates in between the bolts and essentially interlace them, by clamping down 98 % of the flow should stop if you choose this method. A single plate, with softened dimples for deformation properly placed should stop the flow at over 99%. What is left can be dealt with. It is possible as well, to simply unbolt the hub, and attempt to reinstall piping prepared with a new hub/ BUT MUCH more dangerous, as today you do have control within the flow and pressures. Tomorrow if you remove the hub you do not. If you insist, it is more likely to be successful if you use a 4 way “crosshair” style of guide. This guide made out of flat plate, inserted into the pipe and hub to be lowered, and extending therefrom by whatever distance you believe is serviceable is then able to enter the pressure and flow and control the movement by being formed with in an “arrow or cone style”. It will still be necessary to twist and turn the pipe for alignment, into the bolt holes. It will still be necessary to hold the pipe with a drilling ship above/ but once in place, with bolts tightened you are realistically done. The placement of a ball valve or other in the line that could then be shut off, is not a bad idea. As to not opening a side of the hub if you believe the bolts will break, cut the ragged pipe off the top, and shove a ball or cone as otherwise described into the pipe, a variety of methods will hold it in place. Including drilling in a cross bolt. It is also possible, to simply use the drilling rig to hold down a cap (standing on it so to speak) onto the spewing pipe, thereby shutting off the oil/ particularly if you use a saw to cut it square and level. Clamps can then be applied! None apparently wish to do this, not government official, or oil company either, “they want the oil, as do the people of america”: media offers no help, “its all, entertainment and ratings”. Which means, you are risking a world for nothing; just greed and gluttony for oil.
As to the various method of collecting oil, the functional reality is: that oil rises within a vertical column of its own material/ because water and oil do not readily mix. That means apart from any current that could interfere, it will rise in exactly the same way from beginning to end. That means an upside down funnel can be risen essentially as far as is necessary to dissipate the cold and eliminate icing. Once the flow is established, it will be steady. Valving or pumps, create the correct flow.
Work, with the devices provided to you here, on this site. Look for every idea humanly possible, and invite all to come and help: the damn money is worthless/ if the environment is lost. Put up a web site so that people can see the ideas themselves/ so that duplicates can be avoided. Do what you can do, and open the door wide; so that anyone can actually contribute. Understand the necessary work in the gulf is about cleaning up the environment, NOT more oil. Arrange all oil piping through manual shut-offs, that can easily be manipulated by submarine. With strain relief gauges that will automatically shut down the well if they break and so on.
It is unwise to break this well pipe, particularly too high (because the well casing fits within a loose hole, below the first several hundred feet or so) the weight of the piping helps to hold it all in place. If the well casing is broken, the upper half could be shoved out of its hole. The possibility of stopping the oil spill is lost. It could easily become like a dam being burst. HOW can you take that risk? “Your experts know everything/ can’t happen”? Failure means, you could lose a world! The reality of cutting into this pipe no matter where is: enough cement or other must be introduced very fast into the flow to make a difference/ and thereby stop the flow as it goes through the blowout. That means, that cement if hard enough to support or become an actual plug in the line/ is then hard enough to be called a “hammer”; that will be accelerated by pressures and flow. The end result: driving the well upward, with each successive blow; concrete used to seal the well and hold it down, has NO great tensile strength, in case you forgot. If the well becomes plugged, all the pressure and weight being exerted by oil flow, WILL FUNCTION to lift the well; breaching the dam.
As to people who would choose to “shorten the distance”: are they not being pressured to “do something/ make this right: perhaps even an order by government”. Its just gambling: “what could go wrong”! They are trying to help. They know its bad. So it becomes very easy to believe a “short cut” would be the right thing to do. Is that not so?
THE ACTUAL DESIGN of a relief well is to cut through the well casing below/ and then inject a “concrete mixture” into the upward flow, to cause a plug in the pipe. In actual reality, this causes pressures to mount below that plug, which is in the upper casing, above where the well casing itself has been functionally torn: and essentially becomes the plunger in a hydraulic cylinder: forcing the upper casing up, if it tears loose from the lower pipe or well casing. That would then lift, the entire blowout preventer, opening the oil reservoir “like a dam bursting.” To create an effect, they will be pumping materials in quickly/ if it works as planned: that can produce an instantaneous shock wave as the flow is abruptly stopped. A Very destructive event!
IT IS A VERY RISKY GAMBLE, to not be low enough on the piping that tapped this reservoir before cutting it potentially in half.
SPLIT CAP
This one includes a tapered sleeve or pipe section that is big enough in diameter, to cut in a taper at the bottom edge which will engage the vertical side of the hub on top of the blowout. THAT MEANS, once you lower the pipe section past the spewing top, it will align with and engage the side of the hub with a tapered machined surface, as it is pushed down. A drilling pipe and rig are attached to the top of this “split cap”, by common connector used in this work (as if joining two pipes). This method allows for oil to be collected through the pipe as this is otherwise going to be working against the pressures in the pipe. It is more likely to properly engage if the oil continues flowing through the pipe. Once the drilling rig has pushed the split cap down onto the hub and seated it against the upper surface of the tapered leading edge. The oil is contained. Careful preparation is possible because you KNOW the size of this hub, you know how much material should be available to incorporate a horizontal sealing edge, which could contain a deformable membrane of some type (if you can keep it in place). To reduce the possibility of fracturing the metal during compression, as it is pushed down onto the hub itself/ a secondary sleeve is used to insure if a crack develops, there will be containment, and enough strength the cap will continue to work. Outside this secondary sleeve are the two halves of the locking mechanism. This is essentially another pipe section slightly larger than the taper cap itself, split vertically so as to enlarge itself, at the leading edge, for going around the hub, and then being able to close around the taper cap with a perpendicular edge that comes underneath the bolts holding the well hub together. Once in place this perpendicular edge establishes the means to anchor the entire split cap to the well without the aid of a drilling rig to hold the piping and cap down. To create this several simple things must be in place. On top of the taper cap is a horizontal plate that serves as the connector to the piping. The spit cap contains at least two blots on each half (four bolts)/ that protrude through the flat plate so as to keep the two halves of the split cap from falling away. These then become the mechanical fasteners, which will pull the perpendicular edge up against the bolts holding the hub together. To create an opening jaw, to go around the hub assembly to get the machine in place, a collapsing ring is used, being the “right size”, it is originally raised in position at the top of the split cap; and when the taper cap is seated, this ring is lowered onto a lip at the bottom of the split cap halves at the area opposite of the perpendicular edge so as to hold it in place when tightening occurs. To keep the bottom of the split cap apart for lowering, simple collapsible members are used from the taper cap sleeve, lower edge: to the outer split cap, which will simply be destroyed as the ring is lowered. A winch is built onto the flat plate with suitable cable runs through the lip at the bottom of the split caps and back up to the ring to winch this ring down into place. That winch and cable could also be used to simple hold the halves outward so as to dispense with the collapsible members, by making pull apart wires holding the ring to the flat plate fail, when under tension from the winch.
Theory of operation is. To establish a seal and stop the oil, the most likely means is to use the vertical edge of the well hub itself. Not the horizontal part where the bolts exist/ but the side. You do this by making a pipe section which will contain a tapering section so as to be able to lower onto the top edge of the hub: thereby creating close contact with the sides. If the hub is machined and you know its size, this taper can be very exact/ if you do not, then it is necessary to allow a small amount of room, so as not to fracture the taper cap or seal that you are lowering around it. To insure success, a secondary sleeve is used to add strength. When the exact size is not known, the taper will include on its inside top edge of machining; a small horizontal sealing edge, so as to create a stop. Or second means of sealing; preferably with a deformable sealing member incorporated. These are connected to, & pushed down onto the spewing well, by means of a drilling rig and its piping. To accommodate the pressures involved that pipe rising will allow the flow of oil and gas. Once in place the well is sealed on the hub itself, by means of a usable surface either vertically or horizontally created using the hub sides and top. To retain its position, the flat plate on top of the pipe section that is the taper cap, incorporates two mechanisms for applying pressure and hold. It will contain bolts that can be tightened for long term use/ and it will contain two bars that go across the flat plate upon which cables will be wound, creating a winching effect. Four independent cables will extend downward from each corner of the four ends of the bars being used for winching. These cables will be lowered through the bottom lip on the outside of the split cap, to create a pulling surface, a pulley can be used or not. Each cable then comes back toward the top flat plate to engage the round ring that will be used to pull the split cap halves back together. The cable winch is chained together so as to operate all four cables at the same time. The cable winch is wound by submarine. The ring lowers, by pulling the split cap halves into alignment, so that they meet and become uniformly parallel with each other. The ring stops when it contacts the lip itself, or slightly above. The split cap is now in place to engage the bottom of the hub, where the bolts extend through . This perpendicular edge machined to be the same size as the pipe built into the lower hub, is now able to take the pressures necessary to hold the taper cap in place. The winch continues to pull, and it will lock the pieces all together. The 4 bolts mentioned earlier are tightened, and permanently locked in place. Sealed, “good enough”.
Reconsidering the reality: it is necessary to suggest simply two halves of the split cap, with more bolts, incorporating elongated bolt hole slides, and a much wider rectangular flat plate to allow for this to work. The need for a permanent, “can’t be undone” ring to hold it all together is overrated/ excessive in this situation. Review allows: Instead of two horizontal winch bars/ one single vertical winching bar is used instead, incorporating two wrap around bands, with latches on the split cap halves to secure it together permanently. A guide, “such as an independent u-shaped metal covering over the wrap around cables/ so they stay straight”: on each side is required to insure, the halves will meet properly; edges with tongue and groove, incorporating seals. You can apply positioning pins to the top surface between the flat plate and split cap, to keep it in line as well, using a raised edge on the flat plate, just prior to meeting the halves; to push the positioning pins down as it moves into place. The halves then are completed with a “blanket seal ( suitable materials covering all possible touching surfaces)”. Better sealing/ simpler construction/ easier to install. But do keep the bracing guides to offset the torque produced when the perpendicular edge is tightened. Should be simple enough without a picture. Bolt threads establish the necessary movement to get the perpendicular edge into place. Operating the wrench to tighten these bolts will be difficult with a sub/ consequently a “multiple nut wrench (sockets bound together and turned at once through gearing)” one or two sets; would be useful or independent electric wrenches with batteries per "need to turn". You can also wind multiple cables at once, or combine both actions; or use a lacing cable (these with collapsible members, to keep things in place until you start tightening); IF you use graduated individual locks. Over time the pressures will evaporate, making the permanence factor less significant. Deep water reservoirs in particular (all really) should be refilled with seawater, when the oil is gone/ to stabilize the earth. That is more important than you think. As to the original design above; it is necessary to insure the split cap comes together with latches: prior to raising it into place. That is done with collapsible members and loose ring cables/ to allow for this. Loose cables require a friction slide to keep the cables winding properly/ and protection “such as a bag” to insure no cable gets tangled; if that is a concern. Lacing provides the means to hold the edges together at various points, but reconsidering, it lacks a critical lock as the split cap is raised/ thereby requiring locks anyway at the top: ring provides locking at the bottom. Springs and locks only are an option/ some type of cable to pull the positioning pins out, and let the springs collapse the split halves or quarters together is used. Your choice.
Instead of collapsible members to hold the split cap apart/ it is drawn with a secondary lacing cable, that then draws the halves together by moving cables between the lacing pins, to close the gap “like lacing shoes”. The correct spacing makes all three cables per winching bar work together/ OR, it can be that the lacing cable works much faster/ thereby eliminating the possibility of the halves not being together when pulled into compression. The “squiggle lines” indicate some very simple shading, as I don’t like to draw. The split cap is shown improperly drawn at the perpendicular edge/ next to the well/ for simple drawing. It is realistic at the size needed, that the split cap should be, 4 pieces, instead of two; as would be necessary for proper installation. Springs can function to hold and enclose the secondary splits, or the lacing can go through two instead of one set of lacing pins. It is entirely possible to use simple “gear puller” arms/ hooks instead of a split cap. The split cap is a last measure of defense against leakage, because the size of the pipe on the blowout is known, it is expected sealing agents will be used at each juncture of metal to metal surfaces, including the top area against the flat plate and so on. It is not anticipated, that this will be necessary/ but do to the circumstances it is wiser to incorporate everything possible to contain and control this leak. It is necessary to remember, a large pipe will be extending upward, in current which will cause it to sway, therefore even a perfect fit could loosen over time/ that means hooks could come off. If you cut the broken pipe off the top prior to the taper cap/ it would then be possible to shove a plug or sleeve into the blowout at a future date, if necessary.
As to the potential for the blowout rising/ the oil reservoir “dam bursting” scenario, with no real possibility to control it: this all depends upon the elements contributing. The biggest impact would be the release of tons of weight, by cutting the well pipe in two [find out how much pipe is going to be released, and you can do the math]. The second biggest element involved is the actual frictional coefficient between the well pipe/ blowout/ concrete/ and earth; since that is a complete unknown do to conditions that cannot truly be measured; nothing more than a guess can be applied. The third is exactly what will happen when changes are made, and when.. Can’t go back/ it will be horrendous, if the dam bursts! And then there are all the other wells, that could lose their seal; etc, etc, etc!
The population of this earth has doubled in the last sixty years/ the human destruction in these decades has equaled the entire destruction of all human history that came before. America is trading its drinking water for fuel, and will soon war for water. The intellectuals have destroyed peace; by taking control: contributing lies/ theft/ cheating/ threats/ fantasy/ delusions/ and all manner of story telling without honor, wisdom, or a purpose beyond greed, lust, or power. The geneticists are accomplishing genocide against all life on earth: they cannot repair anything/ once mutilated beyond the disciplines and balance of genetic code; life is dead. You cannot even find a way to plug a hole/ how dare you believe “we can be gods”. How is this not absolute failure? How is this not, “the gateway to hell, and Armageddon (nature in chaos)? Explain it to me, apparently truth has no explanation except extinction! Truth wins/ you lose, game over: prove me wrong. Your choice is life or death/ not want; It’s a decision you cannot refuse! Continue to run away and hide; and your dead: simple as that.
Stop the absolute arrogance that leaves foreign ships in port, while this ocean dies; “got a supertanker and others” able to suck up a huge amount of oil; and they sit in port/ BECAUSE YOU are so damn greedy, you can’t figure out how to keep the money [AND the money is in reality worthless, because the numbers are not real]/ while a portion of your planet, its entire environment, and every life depending upon it, DIES. SHAME ON YOU! Failure, idiot, & fool; HOW can you be called otherwise? WAKE UP.
Doesn’t fit here, but since I am otherwise done with this site, except for trial; the Asian carp, in the mississippi would make “great target practice” for shotguns/ and a tourist attraction besides. They jump from the water, when boats are near! Another boat coming along behind, “and you have lunch” for someone/ or shelter animals, etc.
If, you absolutely insist upon doing this: leave the drilling head in place so that it works like a pin, to keep the lower pipe from rising. If you lose that stability, you can lose the entire well. Arrange to pump “concrete mixture” through that drilling head, with it in place. Even that however, is no guarantee/ because if the pipe sets in a “loose hole”: the flow will go around, just like water over a damn. The more correct method would then be, to pump a mixture around the piping to secure the well casing before actually drilling into it. An unlikely possibility, as this is very hard to do. If you know the pressures being dealt with at the head/ can accurately calculate the pressures that will be applied when stopped. Fully understand the weight and frictional coefficients of the blowout / concrete/ and upper well casing; in direct opposition to a functioning shock wave. And know, how much of the well casing will be lost, so that its fracture and tear potential is calculable. Then mathematically you can guess at how low it is absolutely necessary to be. But you don’t know nearly enough/ and that means this is strictly a gamble, believing “we will get away with what we want to do”. As with all gambling: sometimes you win/ but mostly people lose. Lowering enormous concrete weights PRIOR TO CUTTING THE PIPE, on both sides of the blowout preventer and tying it all together, may give enough control to keep everything in place/ should this gamble fail. But understand simply: should the well casing rise even an inch or so, it could break the seal, and a “dam flow” could rise around the concrete base of the blowout preventer/ creating the same effect: uncontrollable loss, and complete draining of the reservoir.
This is, another attempt by men to “play god” over this world. Another expectation, that we can do anything we want/ cause we want too. But as will all gambling, failure is no longer limited to “let nature (the genetic code) fix it”. Particularly at the extreme edges of life and energy; but here too, including this simple expression in “WE WANT, THE DAMN OIL AND THE DAMN MONEY TOO”. The question is: can life survive? The reality is: when playing god/ the most probable outcome of what men do, will be “satan; destroyer of worlds/ established by the arrogance and failures associated with want and pride”.
JUST SO ITS CLEAR: some would suggest, that I have an obligation to rush to the coast or washington or the media or something/ “And tell the world” so to speak! But the reality is: I have been talking over decades to a wide variety of people, including media and washington and so on: THEY KNOW, I am here. And in reality, this site and its words, LITERALLY ARE my best attempt to be heard. Which means YOU THE READER: hold the information, and it is you that needs to “tell the world”/ I told you! Because time has proven, they will not listen to me, I don’t flatter them; being intellectually bright, does NOT make you wise/ pride hates to be proven wrong.
But make no mistake: if it all goes bad/ Somebody has to take the blame, don’t they: guess who it will be! As was the man who absolutely insisted on halving his way, his house, regardless of the argument: when it goes wrong, “its my fault, for not MAKING him do what he needed to do”. Regardless of the fact apart from a gun, that was impossible. People love to be in charge, do whatever they want to do. But when it goes bad, as has been consistently proven throughout the years: it ain’t never their fault, when things go bad/ its mine, for not beating them half to death, and taking over. Shame on you. Truth is not a relationship to want/ it is a reality based upon the foundations of law that exist and participate in this “a decision”. Without truth, you fail/ want has no comprehension of truth, because it interferes with “I , the expression of personal selfishness in you”; DEMANDING “we (more than just humanity) instead” of just you playing god. Or more simply: I can do whatever I want/ let the laws which govern life be damned.
As the saying goes: “I don’t get to run the train/ don’t get to choose the direction or track/ don’t get to tell it when to start or stop, or how fast to go: But let it jump the tracks, and see who catches hell.” As is a primary motivator of war: BLAME SOMEONE ELSE. Without an enemy, “it becomes your own fault, and failure”. I DON’T WISH TO LEAD, this is just a saying, that applies. YOU are told/ therefore blame yourself/ or do the best you realistically can. After years, even decades of explaining to people that “want is not enough”. After years even decades of explaining the threat of extinction actually exists. Threats of force, to make you pay attention/ realities of court, which are clearly in your best interest to recognize and react to, advertizement’s/ endless words, to describe and define/ religious interpretations to provide a reason to these/ knowledge/ understanding/ wisdom/ laws and truths and trusts long hidden revealed; including the offer to women of help in their own desire to demand and attain equality with men: and a lot more. If you cannot rise above your own pride and arrogance in this, a final round of “you MUST NOT ignore these threats”: your life, all life depends upon it. Then simply put, you are just to proud to survive. How few it takes to “yell fire” and warn the others/ yet if all say, We won’t believe you/ regardless of what the evidence says, or the truth of fire at the door: then all that is left to do, is let you die. Its not a choice/ its your reality.
Fear, is NOT an answer/ it is hiding from reality! Reality don’t care, you die anyway. Truth decides, by the laws that determine what happens next. Gambling, is for fools. Choosing to remain quiet, when a clear warning is necessary: for life to survive/ is for cowards and traitors.
As is alzheimer’s to life/ so is the cowardice of fear/ when confronted with life choices that seem to be only a trap. These cannot escape the confinement of their fears/ because they cannot erase the reality of what they do fear, more than life itself. Alzheimer means: “I cannot escape/ I MUST hide, thereby running into the past, or away from the present to prove; if I no longer live the life I fear/ then I must be safe: hidden securely in lies”. Is that not nation and world as well? Wake up, threats surround you/ and time is running out very quickly. Make a decision based upon what is true/ NOT gambling with life on earth. It’s a choice/ but not for much longer.
